Building Resilience Capacity

Are you wanting to feel stronger mentally, learn new coping skills, or do you desire to feel more in-control of your life?

At some time in our lives, we’re all faced with adversity. Unexpected events can happen at any given moment, affecting our day to day lives. This program will teach you 4 inner strengths to pull you through those difficult times.

Acceptance is paramount in laying the foundation for the direction you see yourself going. Accepting what has happened and knowing it’s time to focus on yourself, will move you forward. Self-care is the next inner strength that we sometimes forget about. With self care, you will know the importance of focusing on you and knowing what is needed to keep you emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically strong. Courage; it’s the stepping stone to success that enables you to build your resilience capacity. And finally, having a positive attitude and a sense of Faith will improve your outlook on life and ensure that everything will be okay.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU and finding a starting point

First Session

The first discussion is about getting to know you and your aspirations. I will ask poignant questions to invoke your thoughts to uncover and define your goal. Any questions that you may have, are always welcome. Given the first session is on me, my ultimate objective is to get to know you and solidify our working relationship.

GETTING TO WORK and feeling pumped

Next 2 Sessions

Let’s continue to tap into your resilience along with my personal support. In our next two sessions, we continue to work and discover how your thoughts and feelings influence your behaviour. We will work on the four inner strengths together and at the end of our sessions, you will have clear understanding about your next steps and have the tools needed to get you there.

GETTING RESULTS and feeling in control

Follow Up Sessions

From there, you will continue to have my personal support and will continue to work on your goal(s) together. I will be there to cheer your progress or to motivate you through any set backs you may experience. At the end of each follow up meeting, I will provide you with your own free personal I am Resilient notes that summarize your next steps to keep you on track.
